You can rename a single file or in several files simultaneously. There are several ways to rename files:
| · | Using tab "Filename Generator" in the Standard Mode.

| · | Action "Generate Filenames from Tags".
|
| · | Manual renaming. This renaming is used only together with Actions.

How to use Action "Generate Filenames from Tags"?
| · | Select the necessary folder in the Folders Panel. You can show/hide this panel by pressing button  on the main toolbar.

| · | Add Action "Generate Filenames from Tags" to the Action List. This Action is added by pressing button  on the Action List toolbar and selecting the "File Actions |Generate Filenames from Tags" from the drop-down menu. You can show/hide Action List by pressing button  on the main toolbar.

| · | Create templates for renaming. You can use different templates for different files, create a path and a filename simultaneously. You can use both methods of reading and saving tags also.

| · | Perform Actions. The files will be renamed before performance of Actions. It can be done with the  button on the main toolbar.

How to use manual renaming?
| · | Select the necessary folder in the Folders Panel. You can show/hide this panel by pressing button on the main toolbar.

| · | Add all files from this folder to Selection List. It can be done with the  button on the Folder Panel toolbar.
|
| · | Select a necessary file and press button  on the Selection List toolbar (or press F2) for editing a filename. You can rename a single file only.
|
| · | Add any Action to the Action List. This Action is added by pressing button on the Action List toolbar and selecting necessary item from the drop-down menu. You can show/hide Action List by pressing button on the main toolbar.

| · | Perform Actions. The files will be renamed before performance of Actions. It can be done with the button on the main toolbar.
